Jack unleashed Koro (a chemical weapon created by Caesar Clown) to poison the Minks and torture them for Raizo's location before left for Doflamingo's rescue. He fought the kings Inuarashi and Nekomamushi for five days and nights. Mink Tribes: When he and his men arrived on Zou in search of Raizo, Jack became the enemy of the Minks. When Queen escorted Big Mom to Kaido, Jack asked Queen why did he bring Onigashima, he furiously revealed he didn't have a choice due to the communication on Udon were cut off. King and Queen: Jack has respect for King and Queen by calling them as "Big Brothers" despite them scolding him and considering Jack as the weakest by calling him "Jack The Stooge".Jack is loyal to Kaido but fears him when he comes to Wano. Kaido: As one of Kaido's three right hand men, Kaido has great trust in Jack for his strength.Although he is shown to have a ruthless attitude, Jack is shown to be respectful to his fellow disasters, King and Queen as he addressed them as "Big Brothers" despite being scolded by them as well calling him as Jack the Stooge and considered to be the weakest. Jack even displayed a submissive attitude to his fellow Disasters when they verbally berated him. He was also fearful of his captain Kaido, when the latter spoke to him in dragon form even while drunken. However, his attack failed when Zunisha (at the orders of Momonosuke) retaliated against him and his fleet.ĭespite his fearless attitude, Jack was shown capable of experiencing great fear as he remained frozen in place while his crew was running for their lives when Zunisha swung its trunk at him. After his return to Zou, Jack tried to bring down the elephant the Minks lived on in an attempt to wipe them out for good, even listing the brutal ways he could kill it. He even went as far as to torture the strongest of the Minks in an attempt to look for Raizo, his brutal interrogation led to the leaders of Zou losing a limb of theirs. He showed a sadistic side by poisoning the Mink Tribe and attacking them when they were too weak to fight back. Jack outright stated his love of destruction to the Minks which he showed by leaving their once large, beautiful city in devastation. He went as far declaring if Raizo was not on the island it was the Mink Tribe's fault, something that caused Inuarashi to consider senseless. Similarly to Kaido, he is unwilling to negotiate with anyone and is willing to do anything forcefully on his own terms. From Wanda's flashback, Jack was shown to be destructive, ruthless and cruel as he destroyed portions of Zou and injured people both young and old while showing no remorse whatsoever. When he first appeared, he was shown to be very confident of his powers to take on a powerful fleet that included a former fleet admiral, an admiral, and other powerful men in order to rescue Donquixote Doflamingo. A number of missionaries, settlers and the commanders of 10 British and three American ships were also in attendance.According to his subordinates, Jack has been known to hold a temper. On 20 March 1834, 25 Far North chiefs and their followers gathered at Busby’s residence at Waitangi to choose a flag to represent New Zealand. Williams drew on his experience as a lieutenant in the Royal Navy to draw up three designs, which New South Wales’ Governor Richard Bourke had sewn up and forwarded to Busby on HMS Alligator. The senior New Zealand-based missionary of the Church Missionary Society, Reverend Henry Williams, was enlisted to design an alternative flag. This design was deemed unsuitable by Busby as it contained no red, 'a colour to which the New Zealanders are particularly partial, and which they are accustomed to consider as indicative of rank'. The Australian authorities were enthusiastic and some months later forwarded a possible design, four blue horizontal bands on a white background with the Union Jack at top left. Soon after arriving in the Bay of Islands in 1833 to take up the position of British Resident, James Busby wrote to the Colonial Secretary in New South Wales suggesting the adoption of a New Zealand flag.Īside from solving the impediment to trans-Tasman trade, Busby also saw a flag as a way to encourage Māori chiefs to work together, paving the way for some form of collective government.
